Concieved in the spring of 1998, Colometers was created purely to fill a previously unserviced niche in the comics industry- the crime fighting leprechaun. Written by Mick Kelly and Drawn by Johnny Kelly, the character of Colometers is based on the celtic god of vengeance 'Cú Le Mítór', a vicious war-dispensing purveyor of all things judicial. Legend has it that he, like Colometers, lived with his mother.		The locals of Ballymingus are a cheery sort, and like most rural Irish people, enjoy nothing more than fighting and wrestling. Eamonn Clegerty runs the grocers shop and has a tendency towards accidental body mutilation. Nick runs a Café and vends 'medicinal cigarettes'. Tullibard Shanks has owned the entire town since his great grand uncle culled the midlands in the seventeenth century. This site is designed and occasionally maintained by Designpirates.
